I started my journey with Mr Robb in March 2022 when I rang his lovely secretary Deborah to discuss a consultation for gastric sleeve. I was seen to within 2/3 weeks for my first consult. We discussed different options from a bypass to sleeve and decided on the sleeve.
From my 1st consultation with Mr Robb I was convinced I’d made the right decision to get surgery and definitely chose the right surgeon.
I has surgery in November 2023 and hit my target by June 2024 losing just over 100lbs,
I needed weight loss surgery very badly as you can see from the photo below. I contacted Mr.Robb and he said I was a suitable candidate. I was scared that when I had surgery I’d be hungry but not able to eat. It could not be further from the truth. I love my food. But I just don’t need much food. Which is wonderful.

Life before surgery was okay, but I wasn’t happy in myself.

I had a roux en y procedure in Blackrock Clinic by Mr Robb in April 2023. I can honestly say the whole team were amazing. I had slight complications after surgery with my diabetes was very up and down but they looked after me well and I trusted them completely.

I had a robotic SADI-S done by Dr Robb in Blackrock back in May. It has literally been a life changing operation. 6 months later I have lost over 70Kg (155lbs or 11 stone 1lb) i have gone from wearing 8xl tops and 46 inch waist to 2-3xl and 38 inch waist.
I can not recommend Mr Robb and the team at Blackrock WeightCare enough! I had a bypass in the Hermitage on 21st Nov 2023 and 1 year later I have lost 50.3kg. Life changing treatment.
October 2021 I had my first appointment with Dr Robb. From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke to Deborah I knew I had made the right choice. She was so warm and friendly on the phone instantly putting me at ease.
