I needed to lose weight, and what I gained was unimaginable! From the very first conversation with Deborah and the team, I knew I was in good hands. Mr Robb is a fantastic doctor; there were no judgements, just 100% support. Everything was explained so well and clearly that I felt my confidence already starting to grow.
I had my surgery, and I was taken care of so well—between the surgeon, the doctors on the team, and the nursing staff, who were fantastic. The dietitians are fantastic too, and it’s so reassuring to know that if I need any advice or to speak to the team, they’re available.
It’s a year since my surgery, and I have lost over 8st / 60kg. I’m half the size I was, and I will still attend the hospital for another year as part of my post-op care plan. I’d recommend this to everybody. My only regret is that I should have done it sooner.
